Meet Jeremy Thurman
Partner at McIntyre Law Firm
As a personal injury lawyer, Jeremy Thurman is committed to making Oklahoma safer by holding negligent companies and individuals accountable. He specializes in catastrophic injury and semi-truck accident cases, using his meticulous approach and strong work ethic to secure justice for his clients. His passion for law was deeply influenced by personal experiences—his father suffered severe burns in an industrial accident, and his cousin tragically lost his life in a car crash. These events ignited his desire to help families navigate the legal system with compassion and determination.
Jeremy is recognized as one of Oklahoma’s top trucking and catastrophic injury lawyers. He has been consistently ranked as an Oklahoma Super Lawyer (top 5% of attorneys in the state). He has obtained numerous multi-million-dollar verdicts and settlements, including a $15 million judgment in a wrongful death case. His expertise in trucking litigation has led him to teach other attorneys on topics such as Federal Motor Carrier Regulations, Trucking Safety, and depositions in catastrophic injury cases.
Born in Paris, Texas, and raised in Valliant, Oklahoma, Jeremy excelled academically and athletically in high school, graduating in the top 3% of his class while playing baseball and basketball. He earned a degree in Biological Health Sciences with a minor in Chemistry from Southeastern Oklahoma State University before choosing to study law at the University of Oklahoma.
Jeremy obtained his Juris Doctorate in May 2002 and was admitted to the Oklahoma Bar in September 2002. He initially worked in insurance defense but quickly realized his passion was in representing injured individuals. In 2004, at the encouragement of his wife, Jeremy joined McIntyre Law, forming a lasting professional partnership with Noble McIntyre.
Jeremy’s faith and values drive his commitment to justice. He has been a strong advocate for victims of sexual assault and young mothers, dedicating his time and resources to uplift those in need.
Jeremy was married to his late wife, Shannon, for over 20 years. Together, they raised three daughters: Ashli, a cancer survivor and devoted mother; Keeli, a psychology graduate student focused on youth mental health; and Chloi, a nursing student and college soccer player. He finds inspiration in their resilience and accomplishments.
Beyond the courtroom, Jeremy enjoys woodworking, hunting, fishing, and attending OKC Thunder games. He also has a deep love for animals and shares his home with three beloved dogs: Rumble, Dallas, and Ellie Mae.
Jeremy’s unwavering dedication to his clients and community ensures that every case he takes on is handled with the utmost care and commitment to justice.
